Madame Marissa realized that her slave had been lying to her and she did not want to encourage that behavior. She used her boots to trample him. She realized they were missing and since she knew no one else but him had access to her place, she punished him cruelly using some of the boots that were left behind. She forced him to pay her cash for them.

She did it on purpose so that she could choke him and teach him a cruel lesson. He was shocked as she had never been that cruel to him before. And that was why he had to change as he was not sure what she would do to him next.
